The last will and testament of Margery Cain of KK Michael, who was weak in
body but of a perfect mind and memory at the making hereof, and thinking on
the uncertainty of this human state and unwilling that any dispute should
arise amongst her relation, she settles her affairs as follows:
She left and bequeathed to Jane Cain the sum of 20 shillings.
She left and bequeathed to her daughter Anne Killey the sum of 10 shillings.
She left and bequeathed to her son Philip Cain a piece of meadow which is
her property in Lezayre.
Lastly, she nominated her son Philip whole and sole executor of all the rest
of her goods.
Dated 1 January 1787.

Will Proved November 26, 1789.

Daniel Cain enters a claim against the Executor of Margery Cain for one
pound January 14 1790.

Petition of Philip Cain of KK Michael sheweth:  That your petitioner's
mother departed this life on the 9th day of this instant November 1789, and
she nominated and appointed your petitioner to be sole executor of her last
will and testament and at the Chapter Court for Michael was held on 18th day
of the said month the space of 14 days from the decease of the said
Testatrix so that petitioner could to be admitted to get the will proved and
be sworn executor in form of Law by the reason aforesaid.  That your
petitioner's brother Daniel Cain (the heir at law) threatens your petitoner
and insists upon the present crop which is in the Haggard to be his property
which causes dispute and litigation between the said parties.  That there
are cattle on the premises belonging to the petitioner and petitioner cannot
tell how to manage for fodder for them until ---- time as the matter will be
decided.
