The last will and testament of Henry Nelson Senior of Ballaneal in the
parish of Trinity Rushen he being in sound mind and memory at the
making thereof this 14th of March 1785.
First He commended his soul to Almighty God and his body to Christian
Burial.
Item He bequeathed to the poor of the parish them that can not go to get
charity a firlet of barley.
Item He bequeathed to his daughter Eleanor Kewley als Nelson twenty
shillings.
Item He bequeathed to his granddaughter Jane Gawn the sum of ten shillings.
Lastly He nominated constituted and appointed his loving daughters
namely Mary Gawn als Nelson, Jane Carine als Nelson and Margt Waterson als
Nelson sole executrixes of all the rest of his goods moveable and immoveable
whatsoever and cutting all claimers off with six pence
legacy each.

At a Chapter Court holden at Castletown June 11th 1789 Thos Gawn husband of
Mary Gawn is sworn executor in court in form of law and also
to be true and just to his co executors who are absent and has given pledges
for the payment of debts and legacies namely John Waterson and Richard Kneen
both of Rushen.
