The 19th day of January - 1789
The last will and testatment of Margt Cleator alias
Lawson of the parish of KK Andreas being sick in body but
sound in mind and memory at the making thereof.
First She committed her soul to god and her body to a christian burial.
She left and bequeathed to her son John Cleator the bed he
is lying in with the clothes belonging to the said bed but the sheet
that is on the said bed is belonging to her daughter Alice and
if Alice refuseth to give him the sheet he shall have a blanket
of the other bed, and a shurt of the flax lining that is in the
house and another shurt of the taw lining that is not wore.
She left and bequeathed to her son James Cleator one pound four
shillings sixpence manks with a shurt of the flax linning
and another of the taw linning as aforesaid; She left six
pence each to whomsoever will claim in her will.
She left six pence apeice to the two witnesses of the will.
Lastly she nominated and apointed her daughter Alice
Cleator aforsd Executrix of all the rest of her goods
and effects moveable and immoveable what so ever.
