This is affirmed to be the last Will and Testament
of Ann Cochrane the wife of John Cochrane of Sulby
in Lezayre who departed this life on or about the 23rd
of March last 1791. She being of sound mind an memory
at the making and declaring hereof some short time before
her decease
First she commended her soul to God and her Body to a
Christian Burial
Item: She left twenty shilling to her daughter Sarah
Cochrane and twenty shilling to her daughter Ann
Cochrane as legacies but that the same was not to [be] paid
until after her husbands decease.
Lastly she nominated, constituted, ordained and appointed
her loving husband John Cochrane sole and whole Executor
of all the rest of her goods and effects of what kind or
nature soever and sixpence apiece to the witnesses.

Notwithstanding this will is proved but
by one witness yet as no objection has been
offered the same is sworn in court in form
of Law and hath given pledges for the
payment of debts, & legacies namely
Charles Crow & Thos Quilliam one of the
witnesses both of Lezayre
