Douglas
At a Chapter Court holden at Douglas on
the 7th day of November 1792
Anthony Lawson of the town of Douglas
having departed this life on or about the 31st day of
March last past intestate and this Court having
received intelligence thereof have Decreed his three
children, namely Ann, Alice and Margaret Lawson
Co-administrators of all and singular his Goods Chattels
and Effects movable and immovable whatever. And
Thomas Quirk husband of the said Ann with
Margaret aforesaid having in open court relinquished
their his Rights in the Administration of the said Goods
and Effects to the said Alice, she the said Alice is
thereupon sworn well and truly to administer the
Estate of her Intestate, to pay all his just Debts so far
forth as the said Goods and Effects will extend and the
and to be just to Margt aforesd in the division of the
residium of the said estate
Law shall bind her ^^ to which ends she hath given pledges
in form of Law namely, John Karran and Thomas
Quirk both of the town of Douglas
