The last will and testament of Mrs Elizabeth Graves of Peeltown being weak in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory. First I commit my soul to God and my body to a Christian burial. Item: I leave to my son John Thomas Graves my part of the house at the Cross in Peeltown wherein his uncle Wm lives with that part of a house bought of John Shimmin and wife and ten yards in front of the big garden and along trough the said garden to be a garden for the said house at the Cross together with the sum of twenty five pounds British. Item I leave to my son Henry Graves my part of the house adjoining the church yard with the yard thereunto belonging and all the appurtenances thereunto together with the yard thereunto belonging and all the appurtenances hereunto together with ten yards in front of the said big garden and the sum of twenty five pounds British. Item: I leave to my son Henry Graves my part of the house adjoining the churchyard with the yard thereunto belonging and all the appurtenances thereunto together with ten yards in front of the said big garden and the sum of twenty five pounds British. Item I leave to my son Wm Graves my part of the house at the Red Gap near Castletown with the gardens thereunto belonging together with the sum of twenty five pounds British. Item I leave to my son George Graves my part of the house and concerns bought of John Cain (Deliver) and the sum of fifteen pounds British. Item I leave to my son Thomas Joshua Graves my part of the concerns wherein I live commonly called Nicholason House and Thomas Quaylešs House and the sum of fifteen pounds British. Item I leave to my daughter Margaret Graves my part of the house and garden near the Cross commonly called John Fairbrotheršs House and garden with the appurtenances thereunto belonging together with the one half of all my wearing apparel of what kind or denomination soever with the one half of all my rings, trinkets and as also the one half of my part of all my household furniture beds bedding linen. Item I leave to my daughter Elizth Graves the sum of twenty five pounds British together with the other half of my wearing apparel and one half of my rings trinkets and as also the other half of my part of of all my household furniture beds, bedding, linen and equal with her sister Margtaret. It is also my will and desire that if any of my said children died before they come to age that such child or children rights under this will shall become the property of my living children equally between them save and except such sums as may be expended in putting them to business or towards their advancement in life. And it is also my desire that if one of my daughters die before the time before mentioned that the legacy of wearing apparel and Household furniture left here by this my will is soley to go to her surviving sister. Item I appoint Robert Farrant of Peeltown Esquire and The Rev John Bridson Vicar of Marown guardian to my said children. Lastly I nominate constitute and appoint my loving husband Henry Graves whole and sole executor of this my last will and testament and of all the remainder of my goods and effects both moveable and immoveable of what nature or kind soever. Hereby disannulling all former will or wills by me made and this to be my last will. In testimony whereof I hereby subscribed my name this 30th May 1792. The executor is sworn in court in form of law as also to be guardian and supervisor of the testatrixes children who are under age and hath given pledges for the payment of debts and legacies namely Robert Farrant Esq High Bailiff of the District of Peeltown and the Revd John Bridson curate of the parish of KK Marown. They the said Robert Farrant and John Bridson are sworn guardians and supervisors of the testatrix's children who are under age pursuant to the will. Probatum est Ev Christian
