At a Chapter Court holden in Castletown on the 14th day of June.
Margaret Qualtrough of the parish of Trinity Rushen having departed this
life on or about the thirteenth day of the month of March last past
interstate and the court having received intelligence thereof have decreed
her six children joint administrators(Jane, William, Margaret, John,
Eleanor and Joseph) of all and singular her goods rights credits chattels
and effects moveable and immoveable whatever and the said John having
resigned his right to the administration of the intestate's estate to John
Qualtrough the widower of the said deceased and the said Joseph and Elinor
being under age he the said John Qualtrough Senior and William, Jane and
Margaret aforesaid are sworn guardians and supervisors of the said Joseph
and Elinor as also well and truly to administer the said interstate's estate
to return a perfect inventory thereof to the registry of this court and to
pay all her just debts so far forth as her goods and effects will extend and
the law bind them and to these ends they have given pledges in form of law
namely Patrick Crebbin and William Waterson uncles to the said children by
their mother's side.
The said Patrick Crebbin and Wm Waterson are likewise sworn guardians of the
said Joseph and Elinor Qualtrough in form of law.
