RAMSEY

This is affirmed to be the last Will and Testament of 
DAVID CORTEEN Jun'r of the Town of Ramsey who is weak 
in Body but of Sound Mind & Memory at the Making hereof
First He Commits his Soul to God who gave it and his 
Body to Christian Burial
Item  I leave and bequeath unto my Loving wife CATHERINE 
CORTEEN als CURPHY all my worldly Goods, Chattles, Bills, 
bonds Money and Effects of what kind or Denomination soever 
Movable or Unmovable except my big Flussing Coat which 
I leave and bequeath to My Loving Father DAVID CORTEEN Sen'r.
Lastly I Nominate, Constitute ordain and appoint my For'er 
Loving Wife CATHERINE CORTEEN my whole & Sole Ex'x and 
I do hereby appoint her my s. Wife Guardian of my Children 
Lawfully begotten between us Namely ISABEL, DAVID, ESTHER 
& WM. CORTEEN , that she shall bring them up in the Fear 
& Admonition of God,.
I leave and bequeath sixpence to all Cravers, and one 
shilling each to the Witness hereof In Witness my mark to 
my Name the 27th day of Aug. 1792.

The Executrix is sworn in Court in form of Law as also Guardian 
& Supervisor of the Children underage and hath given pledges 
for the payment of Debts & Legacies namely the Witnesses of the Will
