The last will and Testament of Ewan Garrett of Ballalargry in
the parish of KK Christ Lezayre, made and declared the 26th Day of
Decr 1791 Being at perfect mind and Sound Memory at the
making therof First he Committed his soul to god and his body
to be Entered unto Christian Burial after the Descretion of
the Executrix hereafter named ~~
He left and Bequeathed to his Two Daughters Jane and Mary
the sum of Seventeen pounds each in Cash, Besides such Manner
of goods as were mentioned to be their property – Item he left to
his Daughter Dorothy the wife of William Corlett a Pewter Dish –
Item he left to Mary Corlett Daughter of the sd Wm Corlett a She yearling
Item he left on his Son Joseph Garret not to dispute ^ with his Mother in
the Bed while she liveth, lastly he appointed his sd son Joseph Garrett
whole and sole Executrix of all the rest of his goods moveable and
immoveable of what kind or nature so ever, & in Case his sd Son will
to dispute against this will that he Sho’d be Cut of with sixpence

hath given Pledges for the payment of Debts

Ewan Garret do hereby acknowledge to have recd
& to be fully paid the Sum of Seventeen pounds
^ a legacy bequeathed me besides each manner of Goods as were mentioned
to be my property & I do hereby acquit release
exonerate & discharge the Exr of the last will &
Testamt of my sd Father Ewan Garret of all claims
& dimands on acct of the same as witness
my Mark to my Name this 21st April 1794
