KK Michael April 27th 1793
In the name of God Amen.
Ann Caine of the parish of KK Michael made this her last will and
testament - being weak in body and perfect in memory with the full assurance
of faith and hope made perfect in the love of God before she went hence and
without fear or doubt to appear with joy in the presence
of God and as for such worldly goods as she had the charges over, she
disposed as follows:
First She bequeathed to her eldest son a heifer when he comes to the age of
one and twenty years.
Item She bequeathed to her youngest son five pounds at the age of one and
twenty years.
Item She bequeathed to her eldest daughter one big wheel one little
wheel a bed and five pounds at the age of one and twenty years and half
of her clothes to be disposed upon her when and as her husband thinks
proper.
Item: She bequeathed to her youngest daughter one little wheel a bed and
five pounds at the age of one and twenty years - and the other half of her
clothes to be disposed upon her, when and as her husband thinks proper. Item
She bequeathed to Elizbeth Garrett a blue stamp bedgown which she then wore
and her wearing shoes
Item: She bequeathed to Jno McSayle a sheep with a lamb.
Lastly she constituted and appointed her loveing husband William Caine
whole and sole executor of all the rest of her goods, chattels and effects
moveable and immoveable of what kind soever.

At a Chapter Court holden at KK Michael on the 18th June 1793. The exor is
sworn in court in form of law as also guardian and supervisor of the
children under age and hath given pledges for the payment of debts and
legacies namely the witnesses of this will.

Christian Caine acknowledges to have received from her father William Caine
exor of the last will and testament of Ann Caine of Kirk Michael deceased
the whole of the legacy bequeathed unto her in the said will
and hereby exonerates acquits and discharges her said father his exors
admors and assigns of the same and every part thereof as witness her hand
this 21st Febry 1806. Christian Caine
