Michael
The last will and testament of John Corjeage of the parish of KK Michael who
being weak in body but of sound mind and memory at the making hereof in
manner and form following.
First he committed his soul to God and his body to Christian burial.
Item He left and bequeathed to his two daughters Elinor and Cathrine
Corjeage the sum of twenty pounds each in lieu of his share of the purchased
lands.
Item he left unto his said two daughters before named the sum of ten pounds
each to be paid unto the respectively by his executrix hereinafter
mentioned.
Item He bequeathed and left unto his son John Corjeage his share of the
purchased lands of Ballakilley clieu without any other encumberance that
what his son John Corjeage is to pay unto his two sisters Elinor and
Cathrine Corjeage the sum of twenty pounds each being the said sum that was
mentioned to them in the first item of this will.
The testator mentioned at the making hereof that he was leaving all the
lands of inheritance unto his said son John Corjeage without any encumbrance
but as it is at present, he likewise left unto his said son a black steer,
his share of the crop, with his share of the articles
hereafter mentioned namely (plough with its materials) harrows,
drawings, gears, spades, turf spades and ladders.
Lastly he nominated an appointed his loving wife Ann Corjeage sole executrix
of all the rest of his goods chattels and effects moveable and immoveable of
what kind or denomination soever. He left a shilling each
to the witnesses of the will and excluding each claimant with a six
pence each legacy.

At a Chapter Court holden at KK Michael on the 1st day of Nov 1793.
Notwithstanding this will hath been proved but by one witness only yet
as no objection has been offered thereto the executrix is sworn in court
in form of law and hath given pledges for the payment of debts and legacies
namely Thos Cottier and John Kelly both of KK Michael Probatum est

7th March 1797 William Cannon husband of Elinor Corjeage als Cannon
acknowledges to have rec'd from John Corjeage and Ann Corjeage the executors
the legacy of thirty pounds bequeathed to his said wife and exonerate
acquits and discharged the and every other person of the same and every part
thereof.
