This is affirmed to be the Last Will and Testament of Daniel
Caine of Ballanea in the Parish of Kirk Michael who being weak
of body but of sound mind and memory at the making
hereof it being published and declared on the 22nd Day of
February 1794 and committed to writing on the 28th day
of the same instant in the following manner--- 
First he committed his soul to God and his body to a 
Christian burial.--- Item He bequeathed and left to his
son Charles Caine the sum of six pounds as Legacy.
Item He left to his son Daniel Caine the sum of Twenty
Shillings if in case he should come to see them.
Item He left to his son James Caine a coverlaid, a blanket
a sheet and the choice bolster and all his shaped apparel
excepting one pair of blue shagg breeches together with 
the black oak chest. Item He left to his daughter 
Ann Cannell alias Caine the sum of Six pounds as legacy.
If in case she will hereafter sue or prosecute my executor 
hereinafter mentioned for the sum of Six pounds which said
sum the Testator is not certain of whether the sum was
due unto her or not, that then and in that case she is to be
cut off and excluded with only the sum of twenty shilling 
Legacy. Item He left unto his brother Philip Caine 
and to his grandson John Caine all and singular his sheep
to be equally between them as legacy. He also left to his said brother
Philip a pair of blue shagg breeches which was reserved
from his son James Caine. Item He left unto Jane Boyle
the sum of three pounds, an oak chest called the speckled chest
and the linens that were in the black chest. Item He 
left to the said Jane Boyle and to the servant girl Margt.
Quayle Petticoats and a speckled apron equally between
them as Legacys. He bequeathed and left a sixpence 
Legacy each to any person or persons who may pretend to
claim any Right or Title in any of his Effects with 
a shilling each to the Witnesses of this will.
Lastly He Nominated and Appointed his son 
and Heir John Caine Sole Executor of all the
Rest of his Goods and Effects moveable and
immoveable of what kind or denomination soever.

The executor is sworn in Court in form
of law and hath given pledges for the payment
of Debts and Legacies namely the
Witnesses of the Will.
