In the Name of God Amen.
The last Will and testament of Isabel Gelling als.
Creer, wife of Philip Gelling (Ballafletcher) in the Parish
of Braddan who being infirm and weak in bodily health
but of sound and disposing memory at the making hereof
Delivered the following in presence of the Witnesses the 28th
of Nov 1793 –
First she commited her soul to Almighty God who gave it,
and and her body to a decent Christian burial.
She left unto her two children namely William & Margt.
the sum of twenty pounds equally between them, and
in case the child wherewith she went withall should survive
the sd. sum of twenty pounds to be equally between the
three.
She likewise left to her aforesaid son her red cloak and
two sheep.
She likewise left to her aforesaid daughter, all the remainder of her shaped
apparell.
She likewise left sixpence apiece legacy to any other person
or persons that could or might claim any just right or title
to this her said Will.
Lastly she Nominated and appointed her aforesaid husband
Philip Gelling Whole and Sole Executor of all the remain
der of her Effects movable and immovable of whatsoever
kind or Denomination.
