Ballaugh
The last will and testament of Margrett Corlett alias Skillicorn Wife of
Thomas Corlett of Ballamoney Beg of the parish of Ballaugh made publised
and declared the Eighteenth day of September one thousand Seven Hundred and
ninetyfour
The Testatrix being of a sound disposing mind and memory at the makeing
thereof she commended her Soul to God and Body to Christian Burial
First She left and bequeathed unto her four sons Viz William. John. Thomas.
and Phillip Corlet the sum of twenty pounds each
Item She left and bequeathed unto her daughter Margrett Corlett the sum of
Thirty pounds together with all her apparell a fir Chist and a Glass which
was in the Chist
Item She left and bequeathed that In Case Either of the above named
Children shuld dye before they come to the age of fourteen years then and
in that case the Sum bequeathed unto the deceased shall be Equally divided
between the Survivors of Said Children
Item She left and bequeathed the sum of six pence to any person that should
claim a just Right in this her will
and Lastly she nominated and appointed her loveing Husband Thomas Corlett
sole Executor of all the Rest of her goods and Effects moveable and
Immoveable whatsoever

The Exor is sworn in Court in form of Law as also Guardian and Supervisor
of the Children under age and hath given pledges for the payment of Debts &
Legacies namely the Witnesses of this Will
