Andreas
This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of John Radcliffe of
Andreas who was at perfect mind and memory at declaring the same on the 3rd
March 1795.
First he committed his soul to God and his body to the earth.
He left and bequeathed to his brother Charles Radcliffe the black coat
and all the money and effects that is in his own hands.
He left and bequeathed to Gilbert Teare all the money and effects that he
hath in his own hands.
He left and bequeathed to Patrick Christian all the effects that he hath
in his hand.
He left and bequeathed to his sister Esther the sum of twelve shillings
and three pence as legacy.
He left and bequeathed to Thos Radcliffe all the interest due thereon the
money he hath.
He left and bequeathed to William Cleator Junior all the money he hath in
his hand.
He left and bequeathed to Thomas Cleator and John Cleator the sum of five
pounds each as legacy
He left and bequeathed to Jane Lawson one pound in case as legacy.
He left and bequeathed to Ann Cleator the feather bed which he himself lying
on with the bolster and cloth thereof.
He left also to Esther Cleator the other best feather bed with the bolster
and cloth and his chest.
He left six pence a piece to whomsoever that have a right to clame in the
said will.
Lastly he nominated and appointed William Cleator Senior to be sole executor
of all the rest of his goods or effects movable or immovable whatsoever.

At a Chapter Court holden at Lezayre Oct 20th 1795 The executor sworn in
court in form of law and hath given pledges for the payment of debts and
legacies namely the witnesses of the will.
