Malew

At a Chapter Court holden in Castletown on the
17th June 1795

Esther Taggart of the Parish of Malew having departed
this life on or about the 1st day of March 1794 Intestate
and the Court having received intelligence thereof
hath Decreed her Children namely John, Thomas,
Sarah, Margaret and Esther Taggart Co-Administrators
of all and singular her Goods, Chattels and Effects
movable and immovable whatever And the said
Sarah Margaret and Esther being underage and the
said John and Thomas of too tender years to under-
take the Burden of the Administration of the said
Estate their father John Taggart is sworn their
Guardian and Supervisor, as also in Trust for them
well and truly to administer the Estate of the said
Intestate, to exhibit in the Registry of this Court
a full, true and perfect Inventory thereof, and to pay
all the just debts of the said Intestate so far forth as her
Goods and Effects will extend and the Law shall 
bind him. To which ends he hath given pledges in
form of Law, namely Thomas Bridson of the parish 
of Arbory and Nicholas Taggart of the parish of
Trinity Rushen.
