         In the name of god Amen I Wm Garret of Ballacottier
         in the parish of KK Christ Lezayre being sick and wake in 
         body but of perfect mind and memmory do make this
         my Last will and Testament in manner and form
         following ___
First I recommend my Soul to god and my body to Christian 
         Burial
Itm  I leave and bequeath to my Daughter Jane the wife
        of John Caistill the sum of ten Shillings as Legacy _
Itm  I leave and bequeath to my Daughter Isabel the sum
       of Six pounds as Legacy to be paid unto her by my _
       Executrix two years after my Decease _
Itm  I leave and bequeath to my Daughter Margt. the sum of
       Six pounds as Legacy to be paid unto her as a foresd
Itm  I leave and bequeath to my Daughter Cath the sum of
       Six pounds as Legacy to be paid unto her as a foresd
Itm  I leave and bequeath to my Daughter Elizabeth the
       the Sum of Six pounds as Legacy to be paid unto her
       as a foresd _
Itm  I leave and bequeath to my Daughter Dorothy the sum
       of Six pounds to be paid unto her as a foresd _
Itm  I leave and bequeath to my two Sons John and Daniel
       the sum of two Shillings and Sixpence each as Legacy
Itm  I leave and bequeath to my Son John [they] part of that
       Intack Land belonging to me called the grainains in
                                        to
       Case he shall Come ^  the Isle for it if not my Son Daniel
       is to have it in like maner and in Case both my Sons 
       dies before they enjoy it my five Daughters namely
                                                      and
       Isabel Margt. Cath Elizabeth ^  Dorothy are to have the
       sd Land Equally between them __  
Itm  I leave and bequeath to my loving wife Jane the benefit
       of my part of Galloo Creer during her natural Life
       in Case she will continue in my name or not marry again 
       And then to fall and become the right of his Son Jo…   (side missing)
       Case he shall come for it or be alive to enjoy it if not ……
       is to have the same in like manner if both dies b……..

       they enjoy it my five Daughters ^  is to enjoy the sam…..
       as they are to enjoy the Grainains unto which the ……….
       Jane Garret his sd. wife give her consent to give he ………
       part thereof and of the a foresd premises in like ma……….
       AND it is to be observed and understood and it is my …….
       that in Case my sd. wife do marry again I leave my p………
       of the Cash to my Seven Children namely John Dan Is……..

I Isabel Garret daur of the within Testator Wm. Garret
do hereby acknowledge to be fully paid & satisfied the
               Six pounds
Legacy of ^  bequeathed me by the last Will & Testamt. of my 
sd. Father Wm. Garret & do hereby acquit release exonerate
& discharge the Exr of the last Will & Testamt. of my said
Father of all claims & demands  for or on account of said
Legacy of Six pounds Witness my mark to my Name
This 16th March 1798 _

I John Caistill husband of Jane the Legatee within
named do hereby acknowledge to be fully paid & Satisfied the
Legacy of Ten shillings bequeathed my sd. wife Jane by the
last Will & Testamt. of her Father Wm. Garret & do hereby acquit release
exonerate & discharge the Exor of the last Will & Testamt of sd Wm. Garret
of all Claims and demands for or on accnt. of sd Legacy of Ten shillings 
bequeathed  my wife Jane Witness my mark to my Name this
21st March 1798 _

I Dorothy Garret daughter of the Testator Wm. Garret do hereby
acknowledge to have recd & to be fully paid the Legacy of Six pounds
bequeathed me by the last Will & Testamt. of my Father Wm. 
Garret & do hereby acquit release exonerate & discharge the
Exr of the last Will & Testamt. of my sd Father Wm. Garret of
all Claims & demands for or on acct. of sd Legacy of Six pounds
witness my mark to my Name this 21st March 1798 _

I William Wilson Husband of Cath: Garret do hereby acknowledge
to be fully paid the Legacy of Six pounds bequeathed  my sd wife Cath by
the last Will of her Father Wm Garret & I do hereby acquit release exonerate
& discharge the Exorx of the last Will & Testamt of sd Wm Garret from all Claims or
demands on acct of sd Legacy of Six pounds Witness my hand this 3rd January
1799 __
