Arbory
This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of Robt Keig of the
parish of KK Arbory who died on the 31st May 1797 and was committed
to writing on the 6th June following:
First He committed his soul to God and his body to Christian burial.
Secondly He bequeathed to his three youngest sons viz Wm Keig, Patrick Keig
and Paul Keig the sum of five pounds each.
Thirdly He left to his two daughters Elnr and Esther Keig the sum of five
pounds each.
Fourthly He left to his eldest son John Keig all the sheep that were
named to belong to the said John Keig and two pair herring nets.
Lastly He nominated his loving wife Margt Keig als Harrison whole
executrix of all the rest of his goods movable and immoveable.

At a Chapter Court holden at Castletown June 21st 1797. The executrix sworn
in court in form law and also guardian and supervisors of the children under
age and hath given pledges for the payment of debts and legacies namely
Henry Kermod of Malew and Richard Costain one of the witnesses.
