Patrick
The Last Will and Testament of Thomas Key of Balla Glonney in Kirk Patrick who departed this
life the nineteenth of May 1797.
Being in perfect mind and memory at making this said Will first he committed his Soul to the
Almighty God and his body to a Christian burial.
First he bequeathed to his son John Key said three children namely Thomas, John and Ann key the
sum of one pound cash.
Secondly he bequeathed to his Daughter Ann Quirk alias Key the sum of twelve pounds a mortgage
which she is upon the concerns belonging to Thos Key his daughter Elinor in perpetuity.
Lastly nominated and appointed his two sons Pattrick and James Key to be whole and sole
Executors of all his goods and effects moveable and immoveable.

At a Chapter Court holden at Kirk Patrick June 22nd 1797. The Exors are sworn in Court in form of
Law. Also to be due and just the one for the other in the Division of the Effects and have given
pledges for the payment of debts duly owed namely the ? of the Will
Probatum Est

Richard Quirk one of the Guardians of Thomas, John and Ann Key, and Ann Key, their mother, the
other Guardian of the said children who are under age do acknowledge to have received from
Pattrick and James Key the Executors within named, the respective legacies left and bequeathed to
the said minors in by the written Will of Thos Key, for their use and behold they the said Guardians
do hereby exonerate acquit and discharge the said Executors and their respective Heirs, Executors
and Administrators and Assigns of the same and every part thereof as ? their subscriptions this 1st
April 1799.
