At a Chapter Court holden at
Kirk Patrick on the 22nd day
of June 1797.
Philip Corris of the parish of Kirk Patrick Bachelor
having departed this life on or about the 20th day of
March past Intestate and this Court having received
intelligence thereof hath Decreed his Father namely
Philip Corris Administrator of all his Goods Chattels
and Effects moveable and immoveable where ever.
He is thereupon sworn well and truly to administer the
Estate of his Intestate and to pay all his just debts
so far forth as his Goods and Effects will extend and
the Law shall bind him to which ends he hath given
pledges in form of Law namely John Fell and Thomas Key
both of the parish of Kirk Patrick.
