At a chapter Court holden in
the Courthouse at Kirk Patrick
on the 22nd June 1797.
Joney Key/Widow having departed this life on
or about the first day of March last past
Intestate and this Court having received
intelligence thereof hath Decreed her only Child
namely Thomas Key Administrator of all and
singular her Goods Chattels and Effects moveable
and immoveable whatever.
He is thereupon sworn well and Truly to Administer
the Estate of his Intestate and to pay all her
just Debts so far forth as her Goods and Effects
will extend and the Law shall bind To which ends
he hath given pledges in form of Law namely
John McLeece and John Quilliam both of the parish
of Kirk Patrick.
