At a Chapter court holden at Lezayre on
the 28th day of June 1797
Esther Quayle als Creer of the parish of Kirk
Maughold having departed this life on or about
the month of June last intestate and the
Court having received intelligence thereof hath
Decreed her only Child namely Mary Quayle
administratrix of all and singular her Goods
chattels and Effects movable and immovable
whatever, who being under age, John Quayle
her father is thereupon sworn her guardian
and supervisor in trust for her also well and truly to
administer the estate of his intestate, to exhibit 
unto the Episcopal registry a true and perfect
inventory thereof, and to pay all the just debts
of the said intestate so far forth as her goods
and effects will extend and the law shall bind
him. To which ends have given pledges in 
form of law namely John Creer and John 
Cashin both of the parish of Kirk Maughold.
