The Last Will and Testament of Jane Killip als Corkill wife
of Robert Killip of the Curragh & Parish of KK Christ Lezayre
being of Sound mind & memory at the making hereof ~
some short time before her decease to wit in the 
year of our Lord 1784
Item: She committed her Soul to God and Body to Christian
Burial.  Item: She left & bequeathed to her Son Robert
Killip two heifers two Blankets an a Fledge all the 
Geese all the Feathers in the house an a Small Chest 
an all her part of they Sheep Cattle the Logans Sheep~
An all her part of the Sheep on Slue=Moanagh Equally
betwixt her Son Robt. and his brother Thomas yt is the Sheep
on Slue Monagh only to be Equally between Robt. & Thomas 
her two sons.  Item: She left to her Son Thomas Killip a heifer 
about three years old an one Small heifer two blankets an a 
Fledge an a large Chest an a pound of Stocking yarn.
Item: She left to her Son William Killip five Shillings.  Item: Shee
left to her Daughter Jane twenty Shillings.  Item: Shee
left to her Daughter Ann all her Cloaths Woolin & Linen
Except a blue mantle & a clock.  Item: Shee left to her granson
John Corlet one Sheep an a lamb.  Item: Shee left to her 
Granson Thos. Corlet one Sheep an a lamb.  Item: She left
to her grandson Wm. Corlet one Sheep an a lamb.  Item: 
Shee left to her Grandaughter Margt. Corlet a little wheel
an a blue mantle.  Item: Shee left to her granson Wm. Killip
a Sheep an a lamb.  Item: Shee left to her grandaughters ~
Elizabeth, Jane, Catherine & Ann Killip a yearling a piece.
Item: Shee left all the victuals within & without all the Corn
& Fodder & the pigg to her three Sons Robt. John & Thomas
To be made use of in the House all Together.

An all the Household Stuff Equally between them an all the 
flax equally spun between them and made
use of between them and also all the pladding an a clock 
between her three Sons Equally.  Item: She left six pence to 
every Claimer in this her last Will.  Item: She Lastly
Nominated Constituted and appointed her Son
John Killip whole and Sole Executor of all the rest 
of her goods moveable & immoveable of what
nature & kind so ever.  Item: She left to the Witnesses 
of her Will one shilling each ~~

      Bride 11th Augst. 1797 ~~
The Exor. is sworn in Court in form of Law
and hath given Pledges for payment of Debts
and Legacies namely John Caley one of 
the Witnesses of the said Will and Thos. Cowley
of the Parish of Ballaugh ~~
         Probatum est

Thomas Corlett one of the Legatees named in the last Will
and Testament of Jane Killip als Corkil acknowledged ye to 
have received from John Killip the Execotor of the sd. Will a sheep 
and a lamb being a Legacy bequeathed unto him by the sd. Jane 
Killip and do exonerate acquits and discharges the sd. Exor his 
Heirs Exors Admons and Assigns of the same and every part thereof 
As Witness his Name & Mark this 12th Day of March 
1799 -- 				Thos. Corlett my X mk.

Robert Killip and Thomas Killip two of the Legatees 
named in the annexed Will of Jane Killip als Corkill
acknowledge to have received from their Brother John Killip 
the Exor. of the said Will the whole of their respective Legacies
bequeathed unto them by the said Jane Killip and we hereby
severally exonerate acquit and discharge him the sd John
Killip his Heirs Exors Admons and Assigns of the same and every 
Part thereof as Witness our Names & Marks this
19th Day of January 1799.
