At a Chapter Court holden at 
Castletown on the 9th day of Oct.ber 1798.
Elizabeth Keig als. Waterson departed this life on or 
about the 15th day of May last past Intestate 
and this court having received Intelligence thereof 
hath Decreed her Five Children namely John, 
William, Philip, Patrick and Catheine Keig 
Co-administrators of all and singular her Goods 
Rights, Credits, Chattels and Effects movable 
and immovable whatever. They the said John, 
William, Philip, and Patrick Keig with Thos. 
Maddrel Husband of the said Catherine are 
thereupon sworn well and truly to administer 
the estate of their Intestate, to pay all her just 
Debts as far forth as her Goods and Effects will 
extend and the Law shall bind them, and to
be faithful and just each to the other in the 
division of the Residuum of the Estate. To 
which Ends they have given Pledges in form of Law 
namely John Hutchin of Rushen & John Waterson
of the parish of KK Arbory.~
