In the Name of God  Amen
I Ewan Qualtrough of Soroby in the Parish 
of Trinity Rushen being infirm of body
but of Sound mind and memory make
this my Will and testament in manner & form
following,

First  I commend my Soul to the Mercy of Almighty
       God through the merits of Jesus Christ
       Our Lord, and my body to Christian burial.
Item:  I bequeath to my Loving wife Jane Qualtrough
       als. Corrin all my right and Title of land and
       Houses
Item   I bequeath to my sons Namely Ewan, Willm and 
       Edwd Qualtrough five shillings.
Item:  I bequeath to my son Richd Qualtrough 
       a guinea.
Item:  I bequeath to my Daughter Esther Curgeag (?)
       als Qualtrough twenty shillings
Lastly I nominate Constitute and Appoint my loving 
       Wife Jane Qualtrough als Corrin (as aforesaid)
       Sole Executrix of all the rest of my Goods
       (Moneys and Effects) moveable and immoveable 
       of what kind or nature whatever &.(unreadable).

Notes:
1.The date of "3rd Day of Feb 179?" the last figure could be read as "0" or "9" but as Ewan Qualtrough died in 1799, it is more than likely a "9". 
2.Jane Qualtrough als Corrin was Ewan Qualtrough's second wife.  His first wife, Margaret Qualtrough als Corkish died in 1766.
