Ballaugh June the 8th 1799.
I Patrick Caley of the Bollaugh in the said parish of Ballaugh being feeble
and infirm and calling to mind the uncertainty of this mortal life do
make my last will and testament in manner following:
First I recommend my soul to God and my body to Christian burial.
Also I leave and bequeath unto my son John all my shaped apparell.
Also I leave and bequeath unto my daughter Mary the sum of twenty pounds but
not payable unto her until she arrives at the age of twenty
one years and in case she shall depart this life before the age of twenty
one years, then and in that case, the said twenty pounds is to become the
property of my executrix hereafter appointed.
And lastly I leave and bequeath all the rest of my goods and effects unto my
loving wife Ann Caley whom also I nominate and appoint sole and
whole executrix of this my last will and testament and one shilling each
to the witnesses of this will. In testimony where of I have hereunto
subscribed my name the day and date above mentioned.
