The last will and testament of Robert Fargher of the parish of KK
Michael who departed this life about the Fifth day of October 1801 being
in perfect mind and memory at the making hereof.
First He committed his soul to God and his body to Christian burial.
2ndly He left and bequeathed to his son Thomas all his shaped cloths and
apparel together with his best hat.
3rdly He left and bequeathed to his son in law Thomas Taggart the sum
of one guinea as legacy.
4thly And lastly he ordained and appointed his son William Fargher and
his daughter Alice Fargher joint executor of all the rest of his goods
moveable and immoveable of what kind or nature soever. Furthermore
he ordained and appointed his son Matthias Fargher guardian over his
aforesaid son Wm Fargher. Witness our names this the 12th day of October
1801

John Corlett his mark x and Wm Sayle his mark x Jurati.
At a Chapter Court holden at KK Michael the 20th Oct 1801. Alice
Fargher one of the executors only being present in court. She is sworn
executrix in court in form of law and to be true and just to her co-executor
in the division of the estate of the testator. She is also
with Matthias Fargher sworn guardians of the said Wm Fargher (who is weak in
his intellect) pursuant to the will and has given pledges for the payment of
debts and legacies namely the witnesses of this will.

Thomas Taggart within name acknowledges to have received form the exors of
the within will the legacy of one guinea bequeathed to him by
the testator Robt Fargher and exonerates acquits and discharges the said
exors this exors admors and assigns of the same as witness his name
and mark this date above written
