In the name of God Amen.
I Catharine Clator als Vondy of the town of Douglas being sick and weak
of body but of perfect and sound mind and memory and calling to mind
the uncertains of this transitory world do make and appoint this my
last will and testament.
First I recommending my soul to God who gave it and my body to decent and
Christian burial hoping in a joyful resurrection through the merits of Jesus
Christ my Redeemer.
And as for what worldly goods it hath pleased God to bless me with. I do
leave and bequeath in manner and form following.
First I leave and bequeath unto my son James Clator five guineas a web
of check ______ for shirts and a pair of new shoes.
I leave and bequeath unto my daughter Margaret all and singular the
remaining part of my goods and effects be they of what kind and nature
whatsoever.
I leave to any person claiming one shilling legacy hereby nominating
constituting and appoint my my said daughter Margaret Clator whole and sole
executrix affirming this only my last will and testament as witness
my mark to my name this 25 July 1801.

At a Chapter Court holden at Douglas Oct 14th 1801. The executor is sworn
in court in form of law and hath given pledges for the payment of debts and
legacies namely John Lewin the witness and Robert Cannell
