In the name of God Amen.  The 5th day of October 1801.
I William Kelly Junior of the parish of Jurby being sick and weak in body
but by the blessing of God of sound mind and memory do make and ordain this
my last will and testament, that is to say, principally and first of
all I give and recommend my soul into the hands of Almighty God that
gave it and my body to the earth to be buried in decent Christian burial
and as touching such worldly estate as it hath pleased God to bless me with
in this life.  I leave and bequeath to my son William the sum of two pounds
ten shillings.
Also I leave and bequeath to my two daughters Catherine and Elizabeth
the sum of one hundred and twenty pounds equally between them to be paid
unto them by my executrix hereinafter named when each of them
will come to be twenty years of age but if one of my said daughters may
happen to depart this life before they arrive at the said age of twenty
years then and in that case the said sum of one hundred and twenty pounds is
to be paid unto the survivor daughter but in case my said two daughters may
happen to depart this life before they arrive at the said age of twenty
years, then and in that case, the said sum of one hundred and twenty pounds
is to be paid unto my said son William by my
executrix as aforesaid but in case my said son William may happen to depart
this life before he will arrive at the age of twenty years, then
and in that case, the said sum of one hundred and twenty pounds is to be
paid unto my said daughter Elizabeth by my executrix as aforesaid and the
said sum of two pounds ten shillings bequeathed to my said son William
to be paid unto my said daughter Cathrine.
Also to my daughter Cathrine I leave and bequeath my best chest.
Also to my daughter Elizabeth I leave and bequeath the best table that is
in the parlour.
Also I leave and bequeath to my father William Kelly a web of black coloured
woolen cloath.
Also I leave and bequeath to my nephew William Qualtrough a web of blue
coloured woolen cloaths
Lastly I leave and bequeath to my most dearly beloved wife Catharine
Kelly all the rest of my goods chattels and effects of what soever nature
and denomination whom I also nominate constitute appoint and ordain
sole executrix of this my last will and testament .
As witness my name here unto set the day and year first above written. Also
I leave and appoint my father in law John Corlett and my brother in
law William Teare supervisors and guardians of my said children.

At a court holden at KK Michael 12th Dec 1801.
The executrix is sworn in court in form of law as also guardian and
supervisor of the children under age and hath given pledges for the payment
of debts and legacies namely John Corlett and William Teare
both of the parish of Jurby who are likewise sworn guardians and supervisors
agreeably to the will.
Probatum Est   John Crellin.

At a court holden at KK Bride 6th Nov 1802.  Ordered that the Summoner of
the parish of Jurby do swear four honest and intelligent men truly
and impartially to appraise that portion of the estate of Ballahasney in
the said parish which has fallen and descended to William Kelly infant
son and heirs at law of William Kelly of said parish deceased and that
they do in writing return to me their appraisement.
Given at Kirk Bride 6th October 1802.  John Crellin.
We whose names are hereunto subscribed and set being four men sworn
by Jon Kelly Summoner of Jurby by order of the Revd John Crellin Vicar
General to appraise that portion of the estate of the Ballahasney in the
said parish of Jurby which has fallen and descended to William Kelly
infant son and heir at law of William Kelly of said parish deceased.
Having appeared upon the premises and truly and impartially viewed and
valued each respective field on the said estate and after mature
consideration had thereof and every part and member adjudged and carefully
correct.  We value and appraise the whole of the said estate Ballahasney
unto the yearly sum of rent of thirty one pounds Manks currency the one
fourth part thereof we find is the portion of the said William Kelly infant
son and heir at law of the said William Kelly
deceased.   This we return for our verdict in the premises this the 16th day
of December 1802.

The humble petition of John Corlett, Wm Tear, and Cath Kelly guardians sworn
upon the children of Wm Kelly deceased.
Sheweth that the said deceased Wm Kelly departed this life leaving
three children under age which our petitioners are sworn guardians.
That there are an estate of lands the property of the heir at law one of the
said children under age which your petitioner conceives should be appraised.
Your petitioners therefore humbly prays your Rev¹d will be pleased to
grant an order for the appraising the property of Wm Kelly heirs at law
of the said Wm  Kelly  deceased and to make their report accordingly and
your petitioners will ever pray.
