Testement KK Lonan 1801
Anno Dni 1801 April 14th
In the name of God, Amen I
Elizabeth Hoog of the Parish of KK Lonan
in the Isle of Man sick in body but whole
in mind and of sound and perfect memory
I thank my God I make this my last
Will and Testament as follows ----
First I bequeath my soul to Almighty
God my Blessed Lord and Saviour through
whose death and Passion I stedfastly bleive
the full pardon and remission of all my sins
and my body to Christian burial
As for my worldly goods I leave and bequeath
them as follows: I leave and bequeath unto
Jane Skillicorn widdow thirty shillings manks
being for my cost as I lodgd some time with her
and she acknowledges to be satisfyd with the same
2nd I leave and bequeath all my cloathes intirely
to Margaret Fargher with whom I am at present
And as for all the rest of my goods and
chattles moveable and unmoveable of what
kind or denomination soever and the
sum or sums of mony due me at present
I leave and bequeath unto Margaret
Fargher and my brother John Hoog
eaqually between them
And I do nominate constitute and
appoint them the sd Margaret Fargher
and John Hoog my brother the sole and
[whole] Executors of this my last will and testament
In witness where of I do hereby subscribe
