Arbory
William Harrison of Erystine in the Parish of KK Arbory having departed this
life on or about the 26th day of the month of August last past interstate
and the court having received intelligence thereof hath
decreed John Harrison his son sole administrator of all and singular his
goods rights credits chattels and effects movable and immovable whatever
Thomas, William, Jane and Margaret Harrison and Elizabeth Cannell the
other children of the said intestate having relinguished and surrendered
their respective rights to the said Administration unto the said John as by
the annexed Articles of Agreement may more fully appear and he the said John
Harrison is thereupon sworn well and truly to administer the estate of the
said intestate and to pay all his just debts
so far forth as this goods an effects will extend and the law bind and to
these ends he hath given pledges in form of law

children to William Harrison of Earystyne in the parish of Arbory.
Beg leave to make known to the Rev'd Eccl Court that the said William
Harrison father to the above name died intestate and they by mutual consent
and by the advise of several of their next of kin and friends are cum to the
following resolutions, that is, the whole the said Wm
Harrison chattels and effects should be judiciously valued which was
accordingly done and amounted to the sum of ninety pounds British and
whereas sum of us have been provided and sum unprovided for, we and each of
us, by the advise of friends have agreed to the following terms First that
John Harrison eldest son and heir at law to the said Wm
Harrison is to take out administration for his fathers effects in the
name of all of the rest of the said children and to hold, possess, and
enjoy all the goods chattels and effects which his father Wm Harrison
did possessed upon paying and performing the following conditions by
him hereby entered into - on his part to perform on account as aforesaid.
Second that I the said John Harrison do hereby bind myself to pay, or cause
to be paid, unto them (on account of there father's right of his chattels)
the said William Harrison, Jane Harrison, and Margaret
Harrison the sum of twenty one pounds British each on account that they are
not otherwise provided for.
Thirdly that I the said John Harrison do also bind myself to pay my
brother Thos Harrison fifteen pounds British and his reduced part on account
of him the said Thos Harrison has now a -------- at his father's expense.
Fourthly I the said John Harrison do hereby also bind myself to pay my
sister Elizth Cannell als Harrison four pounds British on account of her
being portioned to her husband and it is also mutually greed by us as
foresaid and with the consent and advise of our friends that the said
John and Thos is to have their father's wearing apparel equally between them
and the said Jane and Margaret to have their father's right in two feather
beds to be given them at their mother's discression to be by her delivered
and we the aforesaid Thos Harrison, Wm Harrison, Jane
Harrison, Margt Harrison and Elizabeth Cannell als Harrison do hereby
authorized the subscribing witness hereto to represent us in the Eccl Court
to all which aforesaid covenants and agreements we and each of us do bind
and oblige to ourselves the each to the other and each of our
heirs, executors and administrators in and under the penalty of ninety
pounds currency aforesaid to be levied and paid according to law As witness

Thomas Cubbon and John Costain made oath on the Holy Evangelists that John
Harrison, Thos Harrison, Wm Harrison, Jane Harrison, Margt Harrison and
Elizth Cannell duly executed the before written agreement and quit claim
