This is affirmed by the subscribing Witnesses hereof 
to be the Last Will and Testament of John Quiggen 
of the parish of KK Michael (Mason) who appeared 
to them to be of sound and disposing Mind Memory & 
Understanding when he declared the Same on the 18th. 
Febry.instant as follows~ 
First ~ He committed his Soul to God and his Body to a 
Christian Burial ~ 
Secondly ~ He gave and bequeathed unto the Children of John 
Cain the Sum of ten pounds equally between them. 
Thirdley, He left and bequeathed unto his Wife Christian 
Quiggen His Moiety of the Cow and Bed & Bedding 
together with his Moiety of the trifling Articles in 
his House. ~ 
Lastly, He left and bequeathed unto his Son John Quiggen 
all the Rest Residue & Remainder of all & singular his 
Goods, Rights, Credits, Chattels & Effects movable and 
immovable whatever whom he also nominated 
constituted and appointed whole and sole Executor and 
Residuary Legatee of his last Will and Testament, and 
revoked all former Wills made by him ~ As witness 
their Subscriptions and Mark this 25th.Febry.1803 ~

		At a Consistory Court holden in the

	The Exor.is sworn in Court in Form 
of Law and hath given Pledges for the Payment 
of Debts and Legacies namely John Caine 
and John Caine both of the Parish of KK Michael.

	The humble Petition of 
	John Quiggin of the Town 
	of Ramsey Cabinet-maker 
Herewith /
	That John Quigin late of the 
Parish of Michael departed this life 
on or about the 26th.day of February last past 
but previous to his decease duly made 
and executed his last Will and Testament 
in writing wherein and whereby among 
other things he the said John Quigin 
Nominated and appointed ye.Petr.who 
is also his the said decedents Son sole 
Executor of his said last Will and 
Testament ~ 

	That the Estate and Effects of the 
said John Quiggin consist of property of 
a finishable nature or of such goods 
as requires the immediate care and 
attention of yt.Petr.for the preservation 
and management of the same or otherwise 
that the same will sustain material injury 
and be rendered of less value, and yt.Petr. 
and others claiming a right to the same 
under and by virtue of the said Will 
may or consequently will experience or 
some injury or loss from the want of 
due and timely attention there unto which 
ye.Petr.conceives himself not entitled to attempt untill the sd.Will 
is established.~ 
		In consideration of all which 
		Yr.Petr.humbly prays a 
		Speedy hearing of the Petition 
		and that upon service hereof 
		on the Relatives and next a 
		kin of the said decedent 
		and proof of the said Will that
