The last will and testament of Robert Logan of Dreemscarry of the parish of
KK Maughold worded in our presence the subscribing witnesses.
He left and bequeathed his right or share of the lands which he purchased
off Mr John Christian of Luaiguee called Dreemscarry with the houses and
appurtenances thereunto belonging to his son Robert to be possess and
enjoyed by him after the decease of his wife with the this express
restriction and reservation namely that of in case the said Robert shall at
any time hereafter enter unto the estate of matrimony with MargeryJones
alias Christian then and in that case he is to be deprived of the aforesaid
lands and the whole to be at the disposal of his said wife.
He left and bequeathed his house in Douglas to his other children namely
Jane, Christian, Elizabeth, John, Anne, William and Mary equally between
them but to his daughter Mary he left two shares of the aforesaid houses to
be possessed and enjoyed by them after the decease of his wife as aforesaid.
He left and bequeathed a guinea to his grand daughter Anne Agnes Agnew and
six pence each to all claimers
He nominated constituted and appointed his affectionate wife Jane executrix
and residuary legatee of all the residue of his property of what kind or
denomination whatsoever
As witness our subscriptions this April 16th 1803.
