The last will and testament of Margaret Cowley who departed this life
the 25th of May 1803 being weak in body but of sound mind and memory
at the making hereof.
First she committed her soul to God and her body to Christian burial.
Secondly she left and bequeathed to her husband Thomas Cowley all her part
of the interest of the money that was out at interest yearly as long as he
continued a widower.
Lastly she nominated and appointed her son Thomas Cowley sole executor of
all her worldy goods moveable or immovable of what nature soever excluding
all persons that might claim an interest in her will with six
pence legacy published and declared by the testator to be her last will
and testament in presence of us and desired us to witness the same. Thomas

At a Chapter Court holden at Castletown June 29 1803.
The executor is sworn in court in form of law and hath given pledges for the
payment of debts and legacies namely the witnesses of the will.
