Jurby
This is affirmed (by the witnesses whose names
are hereunto subscribed) to be the last will and testa=
ment of John Cleator of the parish of Jurby who on the
3rd day of August Instant being sick and weak in
body but of sound mind, memory and understaning
in presence of us (the witnesses) proclaimed, pronounced
and declared his last will and testament in the follow=
ing manner and form.
First he committed his soul to God and his body
to the earth to be buried in decent christian burial.
Also he left and bequeathed to his son John the sum of
twenty shillings to his son William the sum of three
pounds and to his son Daniel the sum of five pounds.
To the witnesses of this will one shilling each.
Lastly he left and bequeathed tohis most dearly beloved
wife Bahee Cleator alias Killip all the rest of his goods
chattles and effects of whatsoever nature and denomination
on whom he also nominated consitituted apppointed and
ordained sole Exextutrix of this his last will and tesamt
