52          gERMAN
  This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of 
  JOHN LEECE of the Parish of KK German who departed 
  this life on the 17th of Janry 1803 being of Perfect 
  mind memory & understanding at the making hereof are 
  as follows:   
  First, He committed his soule to Almighty God and his 
  body to Christian burial.  
  Item, He left and bequeathed unto his SON JOHN the sum 
  of two shillings and two pence British.  
  Item, He left and bequeathed unto his DAUGHTER ISABEL 
  GELL the sum of one pound & one shilling British.  
  Item, He left and bequeathed unto his DAUGHTER JANE 
  the sum of one pound one shilling British.  
  Item, He left and bequeathed unto his DAUGHTER MARGT 
  the sum of one pound and one shilling British.  
  Item, He left and bequeathed unto his DAUGHTER MARY 
  QUAYLE the sum of half a guinea, also twelve chistens 
  of Barley.  
  Item, He left and bequeathed unto his DAUGHTER ELEANOR 
  MOORE the sum of two shillings & six pence British.  
  Item, He left and bequeathed unto his BROTHER WILLIAM 
  LEECE a coat, waist coat, and breeches.  
  Item, He left and bequeathed unto his GRANDSON JOHN 
  LEECE a sheep and a lamb.  
  Item, He left and bequeathed unto his GRANDSON JOHN'S 
  ELDEST SON one shee lamb.  
  Item, He left and bequeathed unto his GRANDSON JAMES 
  GELL a sheep and a lamb.  
  Item, He left and bequeathed unto his WIFE ELEANOR 
  LEECE the bed bolster and bed clothes whereon he was 
  lying on to be her property.  
  Lastly, he constituted nominated & appointed his WIFE 
  ELEANOR LEECE ALS CLAGUE, his SON DAVID and his DAUGHTER 
  ANN CLAGUE ALS LEECE to be the whole jointly execrs of 
  all the rest of his goods and effects of what kind or 
  denomination so ever to be their right and proper xxxxxx[hidden in fold] 
  and excluded and debarred all other person or persons 
  with six pence legacy who should sue to the contrary thereof.

                    AT A CHAPTER COURT HOLDEN AT 
                    ST JOHN'S CHAPEL June 30th 1803: 
JOHN CLAGUE HUSBAND Of ANN & DAVID LEECE sworn Execrs in 
Court in form of Law & xxxxxx to be true & just the one 
to the other in the division of the effects & have given 
pledges for the payment of debts & legacies namely the 
witnesses of the will.
