The petition of Mrs Mary Quayle otherwise Wilson widow of Mark Hildesley
Quayle Esq late deceased.
Sheweth: That the said Mark Hildesley Quayle departed this life on or about
the 21st day of May(Jan) last intestate leaving issue by your petitioner
Mark Hildesley Quayle a posthumous child sole administrator of all and
singular the goods, rights, credits, chattels, and effects, movable and
immovable whatever of the said intestate. And the said administrator being
under age his mother namely Mary Quayle otherwise Wilson is sworn his
guardian and supervisor and in trust for him well and truly to administer
the estate of the said intestate, to exhibit a full, true and perfect
inventory thereof into the Episcopal Registry, and to pay all his just debts
so far forth as his goods and effects will extend and the law bind her and
to these ends she hath given pledges in form of law namely Senhouse Wilson
Esquire her father and Thomas Stowell of Douglas Esquire.
The said Senhouse Wilson, and Daniel Wilson Esquire her brother are likewise
sworn guardians and supervisors of the said administrator in form of law.
Decretum Est Ev: Christian
By Virtue of the Vicar General Christian's order to the petition of Mrs Mary
Quayle widow of Douglas I served and charged Capt Geo Quayle Esq and Basil
Quayle Esq and Miss Cath Quayle, Miss Eliza Quayle and Miss Sarah Quayle all
to appear before a court to be hold at the house of Senhouse Wilson Esq in
the town of Douglas on Thursday next by two oo'clock in the afternoon to
answer the suite of the said Mrs Mary Quayle and this I aver this 18th July
1804.
