Rushen
The last will and testament of Margery Kelly of the parish of KK Christ
Rushen who being sick and weak in body but of perfect mind and memory at the
making hereof as follows:
First she committed her soul to God and her body to Christian burial. Item:
She left and bequeathed the tithes that was purchased to the estate to her
loving son and heir William Kelly and her part of the horses and carts and
husbandry gears and the third part of the crop of the land and the bed and
bedstead and clothing that the boy lies in.
Item: She bequeathed to her grand daughter Margret Qualtrough the cash she
had in mortgage in KK Michael.
Item: She bequeathed all the cash she had in mortgage in the estate of John
Crebbin in Jurby to her two grandsons and granddaughter namely
John and Thomas and Elenor Kelly equally between them.
Item: She bequeathed to Elenor Nelson also Kelly of Castletown one
guinea.
Item: She bequeathed to the poor of the parish one guinea.
Item: She bequeathed to her son William Kelly her fishing nets and boyes and
trapps.
Item: She bequeathed to all claimers six pence legacies each.
Lastly she nominated constituted and appointed her daughter Margery
Qualtrough also Kelly whole and sole executor of all the rest of her
goods moveable and immoveable whatsoever.
In witness my name and mark this 6th day of June 1801. Margery Kelly my x

At a Eccl Court holden on the 10th Nov 1804. John Qualtrough husband of the
executrix named in the annexed will hath been sworn executor
thereof in form of law and hath given pledges for the payment of the
testatrix's debts and legacies namely William Clucas and William Kelly
both the parish of Trinity Rushen.
