22 Malew I Susanna LaMothe of Castletown wife of Dominique LaMothe, Surgeon being weak in body but of sound mind do make this my last will and testament in manner following. First I leave and bequeath to my seven children that is to say, John, Frederick, Henry, Sophia, Elizabeth, Susanna and Rose one guinea each and I leave and bequeath to my loving husband all my share of our houses and lands and all my goods and effects whatsoever To Hold unto him His heirs and assigns forever. And I appoint him my said loving husband sole executor of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto caused my mark to be set to my name this sixth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and three. Susanna LaMothe my x mark Witnesses: Ellinor Watterson her x mark Maria Killey. At an Eccl Court holden in the parish of KK Patrick on the 25th day of Nov 1803. The executor is sworn in court in form of law and hath given pledges for the payment of debts and legacies namely John Stevenson of Liarghydoo in the parish of KKGerman Esqr and the Revd James Gelling Vicar of the said parish.
