In the name of God Amen
I Catherine Radcliffe of the parish of Andreas
Do make this my last will and Testament in
Manner following.
First: I commit my soul unto God and my body
Unto decent Christian Burial at the descretion
Of my Executor
Secondly: I leave and bequeath to each of my children
Half a Guinea each as Legacy.
Thirdly: I leave and bequeath unto Jane my daughter
In law my son John’s wife the sum of
One Guinea as Legacy.
Fourthly: I leave and bequeath unto Jane my
My grandchild my son John’s daughter Half a
Guinea as Legacy.
Fifthly; I leave and bequeath unto Thos Radcliffe
Wife a new shift in “____”
Sixthly: I leave and bequeath unto my daughter Margt
And unto Jane my daughter in law my son John’s
Wife all my shapen cloaths both woolen and Linnen
Equally between them as legacy.
Seventhly: I leave and bequeath unto my son William
My right or share of Ten pounds which he have
In his own hands as legacy.
Eightly: I leave unto the witnesses of this my last
Will and Testament eighteen pence each.
Lastly: I nominate constitute and appoint my
Husband John Radcliffe whole and sole executor
Of all the rest of my goods movable and immovable
Of what kind or description soever Witness Thos Radcliffe

At a Chapter Court holden at Lezayre Jan 25th
1804
Notwithstanding this Will is proved but by
One witness yet as no objection has been offered
The Exec is sworn in Court in form of Law and
Hath given pledges for the payment of Debts
Legacies namely Thos Radcliffe the witness
And Wm Kneale.
