   I Elizabeth Fargher alias Quayle relict of Thos Fargher of Shenvalla Esq deceased, being at present 
infirm but of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding do make this my Last Will and 
Testament in manner following, hereby revoking all former wills made by one. 
   First I commend my Soul to God in hopes of a joyful resurrection through merits of my blessed 
Redeemer Jesus Christ and my body to christian burial to be interred along with my dear deceased 
Husband. 
   And with respect to my wordly Goods & Effects I do dispose of them in manner following. 
   I leave and bequeth to my son JOHN FARGHER the sum of ten pounds. To my son QUAYLE 
FARGHER the sum of one Guinea. To my grandDaughter  
ESTHER KINLEY the sum of ten pounds. To my grandSons namely JOHN, WILLIAM, THOMAS and 
QUAYLE CLUCAS the sum of one Guinea each. To my grandSon CLAVE CLUCAS the sum of twenty 
pounds. To each of my grandDaughters namely ELIZABETH & CATHARINE CLUCAS the sum of ten 
pounds and a feather Bed and Bedclothes. I leave and bequeath to my two daughters namely MARGARET 
CLUCAS and ELIZABETH KINLEY the sum of eighty five pounds equally between them, which said 
sum of eighty five pounds being the remaining moiety of one hundred and seventy pounds payable after 
my decease by my heir at law or whoever holds and possess that part of the Estate of

Cordaman called ThollooWell [not sure of this spelling JCF] which was purchased by my drear deceased 
husband and me. 
    I leave and bequeath to my said daughters MARGT CLUCAS & ELIZABETH KINLEY all my shaped 
and wearing apparel equally between them, part whereof to be by them given to each of my 
grandDaughters as they shall think proper and it is my will that none of my children or grandchildren 
shall be called to account by my Executors for any Compliment or Gift that I may have made them. 
   Lastly I leave and bequeath to my said daughters MARGARET CLUCAS & ELIZABETH KINLEY all 
the rest of my Goods, Credits, Chattels and Effects, movable and immovable whatever equally between 
themand do hereby constituted appoint them joint Executrixes and ---------- Legatees of this my last Will 
and Testament and it is also my will that whatever my said Executrixes shall receive, possess and enjoy by 
and under this my said will shall be wholly in their own power to dispose of the same as they shall think 
proper. 
   In testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name this first day of March 1798

Signed and delivered as the last will & Testament of elizth Fargher in the presence of Wm CLUCAS & 
Wm FARGHER; (both signing their names) 
On the 12th Oct 1798 the above named Elizabeth Fargher this day declared that the above was her last 
Will & testament, Witness my subscription JOHN BRIDSON.

Codicil to the Will of Elizabeth Fargher made on 18th January 1806 
 
    I Elizabeth Fargher do make and publish this codicil to my last will and testament annexed hereto in 
manner following. The legacy of ten pounds bequeathed to my son JOHN FARGHER I leave to my 
Executrixes before named as it has become a lapse legacy and the legacy of twenty pounds to my grandson 
CLAVE CLUCAS I hereby reduce to five pounds and no more; and I also reduce the legacies to my three 
granddaughters ESTHER KINLEY, ELIZABETH CLUCAS AND CATHARINE CLUCAS  from ten 
pounds each (as -------- in my said will) to five pounds each and no more and whereas I have already 
given to each of my said granddaughters a featherbed and bedclothes my will and desire is that they are 
not to call upon or apply to my Executrixes for the same or to have any claim upon them for more than the 
five pounds each as before expressed and I do desire and order that this my codicil shall be annexxed to 
my will and considered as a part therof to all intents and purposes. 
Witness my name or mark to my name This 18 January 1806. Elizabeth Fargher her X 
signed in the presence of JOHN BRIDSON and Wm FARGHER. 
[Note that Elizabeth Fargher died on the 24th January 1806 and is buried along side her husband Thomas 
in St.Mark`s Churchard JCF]
