This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of John Moore of the
parish of Trinity Rushen who was of sound mind and memory at the making
hereof.
First - He committed his soul to Almighty God and his body to the earth and
Christian burial.
Item:  He left and bequeathed to his loving wife Elizabeth Moore also
Crebbin his part of the land, as long as she lives and after her death to
come to his son Peter Moore and the said Peter is to pay to my loving wife
the sum of twenty pounds and at my death of the said sum of twenty pounds he
is to pay to my loving wife five pounds for my burial.
ITEM:  He left and bequeathed to his son John Moore a new blanket.
Item:  He left and bequeathed to the rest of his children namely, Ann;
Catherine; Elizabeth; Esther and Jane two shillings and six pence each of
them.
Lastly he nominated, constituted, and appointed his loving wife Elizabeth
Moore also Crebbin to be sole executor of all the rest of his goods and
effects moveable and immoveable of what kind or nature whatsoever, depriving
any person who should claim with six pence legacy each.

At a Chapter Court holden  at Castletown Oct 15th 1807. Notwithstanding this
will is proved but by one witness yet as no objection has been offered the
executrix is sworn in court in form of law and hath given pledges for the
payment of debts and legacies namely John Shimmin and Wm Qualtrough both of
