              In the name of God Amen
I Ann Bridson of the town of Douglas widow of
William Bridson late of the said town Merchant
being of sound and disposing mind memory and
understanding do make this my last Will and
Testament in manner and form following that
is to say—
First
I leave and bequeath to all lawful claimers the
sum of ons shilling apiece
Secondly
I leave and bequeath to my Children
John Bridson, Alice Cosnahan otherwise Bridson
wife of Mark Cosnahan and hugh Bridson the 
sum Two hundred pounds British to be paid &
divided equally to amongst and between my
children by my eldest son Paul Bridson within
twelve Calendar months from and after my decease
and in case of the death then and in that case I
Will that the share of shares of such child or
children shall fall and come to the Survivors
or Survivor of my said children  And I also leave and 
devise and bequeath to my Daughter Ann Smith als
Bridson widow of James Gordon Smith deceased the
sum of Ten pounds British only she having already
been provided for To be also paid by my said son 
Paul Bridson within twelve months from and after my decease
which said sum of two hundred pounds and Ten
pounds my said son Paul Bridson hath by Deed or
Indenture and dated the 25th. day of October 1799
bound himself to pay to such person or persons as I should
by will or otherwise appoint – I leave and bequeath to
Margaret Quick the wife of Mr Quick of Peeltown Two
Guineas I leave to my son Hugh Bridson all the 
Furnitue belonging  to me in the House in the Mucklesgate
I leave to my Daughter Alice Cosnahan otherwise Bridson
all my plate and table China & I leave to my Niece
Jane Wood all my wearing apparel –
Thirdly
& lastly I do nominate  and appoint my 
son Paul Bridson whole and sole Executor of this my
last will and testament residuary Legatees of all &
singular my goods Chattles Rights credits and
Effects and property of what kind or nature soever
not herein before mentioned or devised ----
