In the name of God Amen.
I William Killip and Mary my wife both being of perfect mind and memory but
being mindful of the uncertainty of this mortal life do declare this to be
our last will and testament in manner an form as following:
First - We commit our souls to Almighty God hoping through the merits of
Christ to obtain mercy and external life and our bodys to a Christian
burial.
Second - We leave an bequeath to our son William the croft called Crot E
Cain.
Third - We leave and bequeath to our son John son Robert son Patrick son
Thomas son James and our daughter Catherine twenty shillings each. Fourth -
We leave and bequeath to the preaching house in Peel twenty shillings each.
Last - Whosoever of us two survives is to be the whole executor of all the
rest of our goods and effects be the whatever denomination moveables or

At a Chapter Court holden in the parish of KK Patrick 23 June 1808.
The Executrix is sworn in court a form of law and hath given pledges for the
payments of debts and legacies vizt William Woods the witness and John
Crellin of German. PROBATUM EST Thos Cubbon
I John Moore of Largydhoo in the parish of KK German do hereby acknowledge
to have received from Mary Killip als Cowley of the said parish executrix of
the last will and testament of Wm Killip late deceased the sum of twenty
shillings being a legacy bequeathed to the Preaching House of Peel in the
said will. And I do hereby release acquit exonerate and discharge the said
Mary Killip her heirs executors administrations and assigns of the same and
every part thereof.
