In the name of God Amen.
I Alice Forbes wife of Edward Forbes of the town of Douglas
Merchant - being of sound mind memory and understanding
wish to make this my last will and testament (revoking all
others) in manner and form following:
First I commend my body to that most Gracious God who gave
it and wish to be buried with decent Christian burial - and with
respect to what worldly property which I am entabled to
bequeath of every kind and domination whatever I do hereby
constitute and appoint my dear husband Edward Forbes to be
my sole executor.
As witness my hand this 16th day of May one thousand eight
hundred and six(1806) Alice Forbes

executor sworn with pledges the witnesses of the will.
