The humble petition of Thomas Mylchreest of Ballory Maddeh in the
parish of KK Malew humbly sheweth:  That your petitioner's wife Isabel
Mylechreest departed this life last summer but previous to such her decease
made her last will and testament and left and bequeathed some certain
legacies and nominated and appointed your petitioner executor thereof that
the persons to whom the said legacies were left are very anxious and
desirous to received the same but yet your petitioner is not
in power to discharge any debts or legacies until the probate of said will
is taken before your Reverence Court and your petitioner sworn executor
thereof that your petr is greatly afflicted with a disorder in his legs
whereby he is obliged to keep his bed and cannot appear before your
Reverences court.
Therefore you petr humbly requests that your Reverence may be graciously
pleased to appoint a certain day to take the probate of said
will that as your petitioner being so greatly afflicted your Reverence
may be pleased to order that your petitioners son John Mylechreest or
any other person may be sworn executor in trust that the debts and legacies
may be paid and  discharged and he as in duty bound will pray. Ordered that
the beforegoing petition do come on to be heard at an Eccl Court to be
holden in the court house in this parish on Friday next
whereof all proper parties and persons to have due notice.
Given at KK Patrick 1st January 1808   Ev Christian.

In the name most Holy and blessed trinity three persons and one God
Amen.
I Isabel Mylchreest of Ballamadda in parish of Malew being infirm in
health but of disposing mind and memory thank God and calling to mind
the uncertainty of this mortal life and in order to settle my worldly
goods and effects do therefore make this my last will and testament as
in manner following:
First I commit my soul to Almighty God and my body to a Christian
burial.
Secondly I leave and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Faragher wife of Wm
Faragher of Colcam the sum of thirty two pounds Manks with
interest thereon which is now in the hands of John Bridson of KK Malew.
Thirdly I leave and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Faragher the sum
of four pounds eighteen shillings Manks which is now in the hands of Wm
Bridson of KK Malew.
Fourthly I leave and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Faragher one half of
all kink of linnen which was made in the year one thousand eight
hundred and seven and the other half unto Elizabeth Mylchreest wife of John
Mylchreest.  Also I leave and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Faragher and
Elizabeth Mylchreest wife of John Mylchreest the linnen thread now on the
field  equal between them and Also I leave and
bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Faragher all kind of tread now in the
house and all ---- of kinblets now in the house.  I leave and bequeath to
my daughter Elizabeth Faragher all my clothes wearing apparel and a bed and
bed clothing namely that is now upon the room above the entry and also a
pair of sheets and also I leave and bequeath to Elizabeth
Mylchreest wife of John Mylchreest a pair of sheets and half a blue stuff
webb and the other half to my daughter Elizabeth Faragher and also  I
leave and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Faragher a cow called my
own cow.
Lastly I leave and bequeath all the  residue and remainder of my said
goods rights cattles and chattels and effects whatsoever unto my loving
husband Thomas Mylchreest and do hereby constitute and appoint him
sole executor and residuary legatee thereof and excluding all cravers
with six pence a piece as legacy
Published and declared by her the said Isabel Mylchreest as and for her
last will and testament by her desire and have subscribed our names or marks
this the twelve day of June 1807 .

You will duly fulfil this last will and testament of your decease wife
Isabel Mylchreest you will pay all her just debts and legacies so far
forth as her goods and effects will extend and the law bind you, and you
will do all other Acts and Deeds in the office of an Executor according to
the laws of this land; so help you God and the contents of that book.

At an Eccl Court holden in the parish of KK Patrick on the 10th day of
February 1808.
The beforegoing oath having been administered to Thomas Mylchreest the
executor named in the annexed will of Isabel Mylchreest by virtue of a
commission granted to John Mylchreest his son for that purpose. He the said
Thomas Mylchreest being indisposed and unable to travel to court.
The said Will is accepted  as and for the last will and testament of the
said Isabel Mylchreest and the said executor hath given pledges for the
payment of the said testatrix debts and legacies namely John Mylchreest his
son and William Fargher of Malew
