The humble petition of Thomas Harrison of Spring Valley Esquire executor in
trust of the will of John Joseph Bacon Esquire deceased. Sheweth That
authentic examplifications of the last will and testament of the said John
Joseph Bacon have been duly received and sanctioned by your Reverends Court
within this Diocese and your petitioner duly qualified to act as executor of
the said will as may appear by reference to the Archdeacon1s Registry with
this island
That there is of the estate of the said John Joseph Bacon decease property
to a considerable amount vested in some of the public funds in England and
for the due management of such property - it become necesary to exhibit at
the proper offices or places for transacting the business of the said funds
and authentic examplifications of the said will so recorded in the
Arthdeacon1s Registry as aforesaid.
That the Registrar of the said Archdeacons will not take on himself to
permit the said examplification of said will to be removed from the Registry
under his care without the special direction or permission of your
Reverence.
Wherefore your petitioner humbly prays that your Reverence may be pleased to
permit or direct the Reverend John Nelson Registrar aforesaid to give to
your petitioner the said authentic exemplification of the said will of the
said John Joseph Bacon upon our petitioners giving a receipt or security
promissory to restore them in safety to the said Registry without
unnecessary delay and that your petitioner may obtain such other relief as
is just and your petitioner will pray.

Upon consideration of the foregoing petition I do hereby allow and order the
Rev John Nelson to give to the petitioner the examplification in this
petition mentioned upon his giving a record for the same promising to
restore or return the same to the Archdeacon1s Registry without unecessary
delay given this 23d day of June 1810. Thos Cubbon. Received the
exemplification of the will of John Joseph Bacon from the Rev John Nelson
Archdeacon1s Registrar and I do hereby prise to restore the said
exemplification without unnecessary delay to the said registry. Thos
