Kirk Michael 1809
This is affirmed by the subscribing witnesses to be the last will and
testament of Patrick Caine of the parish of KK Michael who was of sound and
disposing mind, memory, and understanding when he declared the
same on the 8th of June 1809 -
First - He recommended his soul to Almighty God and his body to Christian
burial.
Item - He gave and bequeathed unto his two children ten shillings each.
Lastly He gave and bequeathed unto his loving wife Esther Caine all the
rest, residue, and remainder of his goods, rights, credits, chattels, and
effects moveable and immovable whatever and nominated constituted and
appointed his said wife sole executrix of this his last will and
testament.
As witness their names and mark this 13th day of June 1809. John

At a Chapter Court holden at KK Michael the 30th Oct 1809 -
The executrix is sworn in Court in form of Law and hath given pledges
for the payment of debts and legacies namely John Caine one of the witnesses
and Thomas Boyde of Ballaugh PROBATUM EST
