80 Ramsey
In the name of God Amen. I Alice Sayle Radcliffe widow of the
town of Ramsey being of sound and disposing mind and
memory praised be to God do for avoiding controversies after
my decease make publish and declare this my last will and
testament in manner following.
First I recommend my soul to God that give it, and my body to a
Christian burial, and as for such worldly goods as God has been
pleased tobless me with, I bequeath and dispose thereof as
followeth:
That is to say, I leave and bequeath to my three sons Charles.
William, and Robert half a crown each as legacy and half a
crown to my daughter Jane Corlett als Radcliffe.
I leave and bequeath to my granddaughter Margret Stole all and
singular my dwelling house in the town of Ramsey and the west
end of garden thats back of the aforesaid house to extend so far
as the south east of said dwelling house adjoining to Wm
Spraingers garden on the south as legacy but if in case my said
granddaughter Margaret Stole die without issue that the whole
of said legacy is to fall and decend to James Kewin's children.
Item I leave and bequeath to my son in law James Kewin's
children The Smiddy and the other part of the garden thats
behind the Smiddy adjoining to Daniel Tears house and to Wm
Sprainger's garden and the cow house and yard as legacy but
reserving a road or passage to my said granddaughter Margaret
Stole from the Main Street through the yard to her part of the
garden.
Item I leave and bequeath six pence legacy to each craver that
will sue to break or disannull this last will and testament.
And lastly I nominate, constitute and appoint my loving
daughter Isabel Kewin my whole and sole executor of all the
rest of my goods, chattles, credits, and effects of what kind or
nature soever.
In witness whereof I have caused my usual mark to be sett to my
name this the 7th of March 1807.

29 May 1810 - James Kewin husband of the executrix named is
sworn in court in form of law and hath given pledges for the
payment of debts and legacies namely Stephen Kaneen and
William Christian.
