In the name of God Amen.
I Margaret Farrant of Ballamoar in the parish of Jurby being at present weak
in body but of perfect mind memory and understanding do make, publish, and
declare this my last will and testament in manner
following.
First I commit my soul unto Almighty God and my body to a Christian
burial.
Secondly I leave and bequeath unto my son William Farrant the sum of
fifty pounds British.
Thirdly I leave and bequeath unto my daughter Ann Farrant the sum of one
thousand pounds British to be paid her when she arrives at the age of twenty
one years or sooner at the discretion of my executor hereafter named.
Fourthly I leave and bequeath unto my loving husband Robert Farrant all
my houses lands and concerns as well in and about the town of Peel and
elsewhere.
Hereby revoking all former will or wills by me made.
And lastly I nominate constitute and appoint my said loving husband
Robert Farrant whole and sole executor of this my last will and
testament and supervisor of my children.
In testimony where I have subscribed my name this 16th day of April

Executor sworn in court in form of law as guardian and supervisor of the
children under age and hath given pledges for the payment of debts and
legacies namely the witnesses of the will.
